Relating the history of Barangay San Felipe is lacking without mentioning the Pedro Portugalete and his family who first settled in this place as farmers. When Pedro Portugalete settled in this place it was not baryo San Felipe. No people were residing there except Datu Tiwan a Moro head. Datu Tiwan and Pedro Portugalete became friend the reason why the later and his family has lived peacefully in this place. The good Datu has a son named Mabinay whom Pedro also befriended. There was a here ranch owned by a man named Tintoy Natividad. Natividad did not engaged in farming. Later Mabinay became a datu and it was him who gave the land to Pedro. The land is fertile. totaling all 30 hectares more or less.
